oh and

Archie says hello! He is such a sleepy pup. <3

it feels more like summer

Spring break is here and I couldn't be happier! My stats class has been anything but easy. Leave it to me to leave all my math requirements for last! Other than school and work, nothing much has happened. I'm not doing anything special for spring break as of now. I guess I'm more of a wait and see how it goes type of person; I'm sure I will do some fun impromptu things! Christian is always good with coming up with things to do. I'm the last one of my friends to be on spring break so we'll see if I get to hang out with my besties. Today was my last day of class and I went for about 20 min to turn in my final project proposal, and now I'm home waiting to go to work. So I leave you with a picture of me and my grown out bangs. I've always had short bangs but now I'm not sure if I want to go short again. What do you ladies think?

girls night out

So last night the girls and I decided to go to Chinatown and go to this one event called AM/FM. It was a lot of fun! We then walked down to Mountain Bar where we ran into a couple of our old guy friends. It's always good to hang out with my friends, I don't do it enough with being busy with school and work; I love that we still make time for each other. Overall a really great night! :]

march babies

So this weekend we celebrated Christian's and my dad's birthday! I had a very busy week with school, work and with preparing all the birthday arrangements. Wednesday was my dad's actual birthday so we headed down to Old Town Pasadena for dinner at The Melting Pot! Fondue yummyness occurred. I love having dinner with my family, and I love that we don't only do it on special occasions. It was a fun night and my dad had a great time!

The next day I worked 1-close so I was not too excited since I had to run all my errands for Christian in the morning. I bought him a cake at this yummy Cuban bakery that's in Old Town Monrovia; got him a red velvet cake, it's so good and his favorite. I went to work and put the delicious cake in our fridge while I worked my long shift. Then on my break I went to buy him his present and a card. I got him an ipod since his had broken on him a while ago, he's been meaning to buy himself one but I decided I would get him one instead. So after work I drove down to his place and we had a chicken salad for dinner and then proceeded to watch season five of Weeds. I had his cake and present in my car, ready to go once it turned midnight! I was so nervous, haha. So once it turned midnight I yelled out HAPPY BIRTHDAY! And ran to my car to grab the cake and present. He was surprised and super happy. He was so excited about the cake, and he knew exactly where I got it from. When he opened his present his was beyond happy! I love giving people presents, I pride myself in being a good gift giver. ;]

Later on in the afternoon we headed down to Long Beach to visit the Queen Mary. They do this Ghost and Legends of the Queen Mary tour before the regular tour and it's soo cheesy! We were laughing the whole time. After that we walked around the ship and read up on all the interesting history the ship has. We started to get hungry but we decided to grab a drink at the Observation Art Deco Lounge they had inside. It was super Art Deco and it was so neat to be in there having a drink. We then drove to dowtown LB to grab a late lunch/dinner. We decided to go to Rock Bottom Brewery. I had the Mac'n Chicken, it was soo yummy! And Christian had their BBq burger; I had a bite, it was super good! Their beer was pretty good too. We then headed back to his place where we cuddled for a bit before beer pong. It was fun and all his friends were there, hanging out and having a good time. Christian was super happy and it made me happy! We then headed out to this brewery by DTLA, it's in an artist community and it's a loft turned brewery, it's pretty neat! When you drive through the area you see a lot of the things that the artist's are working on. We had some more drinks and conversed, over all a really nice day! By the time we got back to Christian's place he was very tired, so that was that! Christian told me he had a great birthday, so mission accomplished!

Yesterday we had a surprise Luau Party for my dad's 44th! Everyone came over and it was a lot of fun! My dad had no idea. It's always fun to have everyone together, we have such a huge family that it's never a small get together even if we want it to be.

Right now I'm taking a break from reading my chapter for stats. I'm watching Life for now on the Discovery channel, it's really good! I had my first test of the semester on wednesday and I don't think I did so great...I'm bummed but I'm determined to do better on the rests of the tests! I won't let this bring me down. Tomorrow is a new week, new day, a fresh start. :]

Hope all is well!

Looking snazzy in Long Beach.

changes

I know, it's been a while since my last entry. No thing new really other than Christian being off of work for 2 months! So we'll be seeing a lot more of each other now that he has an insane amount of time on his hands. He might have to leave for Philly in April for a month if things don't go as planned with his job. I'm crossing my fingers if that he doesn't have to go, haha... I hate when he goes away! But I know it's something that he has to do so I completely understand. School is going okay, I feel like I have too much time on my hands now. I don't like it much. I'm loving my Spin class though!

Anyway,Have any of you ever felt like you've just grown apart from a close friend? That's the situation that I'm in. I've been here before with her, I've been through my phases where I think, I don't think I want to be your friend anymore. Soon after I'll get over it, but this time I think it's serious. I feel like we're in completely different stages in our lives, and I feel like I'm being ignored for being on a different page. Everything she does now, annoys me and it sounds horrible but it really does, I just think we're different now, I have a different set of priorities than she has. I think she has a lot of maturing and growing up to do, not that I'm so much more "grown up" but I think that's what it is. We'll see how it goes, it might be awkward since we're best friends with the same friends. Hope all is well with you lovely ladies!

getting back into the swing of things

Hello!

So my winter intersession is over and I am so happy! 5 days a week, 3 hours a day of Algebra 2 for 6 weeks was just insane! Math has never been my strong point or one my favorite subjects so it really required me to focus. I had homework due everyday, loads of problems! So I didn't get a chance to do a lot of things. I feel so free now! It feels amazing to get back to my old routine.

I had a good weekend. Friday was my last day of class for winter so after my final I headed to the gym! I hadn't been in a while since, well I was super busy with my class. Before the gym I stopped by my Aunt Yanira's house to check on her puppies. Her dog Lola gave birth to 7 adorable little Maltipoos about 3 weeks ago. Oh my goodness they are just too cute! I practically died when I saw them. I want one so bad but we already have our hands full here at home with Dexter and Emma. After I played with them for a bit I then proceeded to go to the gym. It felt great to be back! I had a good work out and then headed on home to get ready to hang out with Christian. I didn't get to see him all week because I was so busy with hw and studying! It was really nice to see him. We didn't do much, we grabbed some noodles from Noodle World! Yummy stuff. Then we watched Aliens because he really wanted me to see it since I never had, so I indulged him. I enjoyed it so Christian was happy. We had a lovely night in!

Saturday was a good day as well! I worked a mid shift, after that I headed home and rested for a bit before I headed on over to Christian's. We had made plans to go to the Belgian Ale Fest at Lucky Baldwins in Pasadena. I've never been, but I always heard about how good it was. I met more of Christian's friends that night, I was a little nervous. I'm superrrr shy when I first meet people, I'm not the kind of person that can make conversation easily so meeting new people or being around new people is always a little nerve wrecking. In the end everything was fine and it was nice meeting more of his friends! We left Baldwin's around 11 and then went back to Christian's place where we got some pizza with his roommates, who joined us at the fest as well...boys love their pizza and beer! Before that we stopped by the liquor store so his roomie could get something to drink! There was this funny sign in the parking lot. I was tired by then so I went to sleep and soon there after Christian headed to bed as well. A nice finish to a fun night!

Sunday was great! It was really nice to have a whole day off. So I slept in and did nothing for a good while. Then I decided that it was time to go to the gym! After my work out I went home and rested some more before dinner. My family and I decided to go have dinner at Tokyo Lobby down in San Gabriel where we use to live when I was young. We use to go to the this restaurant all the time when I was younger. It's super cute with Japanese lanterns and fake cherry blossom tree all around. I love it! Food is great too, and reasonably priced! My sister's friend Sally joined us as well with her son Calvin. I love him to death! He is the most awesome baby ever. Overall I had a really nice weekend!

This week I started my Spring semester. I'm taking my last class before I transfer out and I am so excited! I'm ready to get out of here! I'm taking Statistics 18 which is stats for behavioral studies. So far I like the class! I might give me some trouble later on but that's okay since this is the only class I'm taking so I can focus solely on that. I'm also taking a spin class and we had our first mini workout today! I'm excited for this class. I love having time again! I hope every one's week is going great so far! Anything new going on? :]

They're soooo cute!!
Yay workout!
It was just too funny at the time.
Calvin is just the best!

Valentine's Day

A little late, but it's finals week! So I've been busy, busy! I woke up Sunday morning to my dad giving me a rose. He's so cute! Each year since I was young my dad would give my sister and I a rose, so Valentine's Day has never been a holiday that I've absolutely hated. It was Christian and I's first Valentine's Day! So I got up and started baking some sweets for my sweet Christian! I made him some brownie bite cupcakes and some heart shaped cookies Super yummy if I do say so myself. So that took up most of my morning. After that I relaxed for a bit and caught up on The Mentalist, if you like crime scene shows, you should definitely check it out, it has a quirky twist to it! Anyway, after that I started to get ready for dinner at Bottega Louie in Downtown, LA. I've been wanting to check this restaurant for some time now, so I was super excited when Christian told me that he had made reservations there! I finished getting ready and then I got all of Christian's little presents ready. I've been a little strapped for cash lately so I did not go all out like I would have liked to. I got him a nice shirt and a pair of shoes he's been wanting and a card of course! I also got him a bag of his favorite candy, which are Swedish Fish! And I framed a picture of us for him. :]

So I headed over to Christian's place around 5:30 since our reservations where at 7:30 so we could enjoy some champagne and exchange our presents. Christian had given me one of my presents the night before ,because he couldn't wait, which was a box of assorted chocolate truffles, yum! He is so sweet and thoughtful! He made me a card and a mix cd! He also bought me some beautiful roses and a gift certificate to the salon I go to. He listens so well! Not too long ago I mentioned, not on purpose ;], that I really needed to get my hair done, but the salon I go to is really pricey...and since my hours have been getting cut at work, I haven't had the funds to go. I'm really picky with who touches my hair since I have curly hair and I've had some horrible things happen to it when I've spent less on my hair. So it really is nice of him to do that because it's not cheap there. After that, we had some champagne and took pictures of ourselves all done up!

Then we headed off to the restaurant. When we got there we were seated right away since we had reservations. Normally they don't take reservations but Christian has a friend that got us one, which was really nice of him! Everything on the menu looked so good! We got the asparagus with fried egg as an appetizer which was super delicious! And for our entrees I got the ravioli stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach and Christian got the trenne pasta and we both had some wine. It was all very good! For dessert we had some french macaroons, which were my absolute favorite when I was in France. Overall we had a very nice dinner! We then headed back to Christian's house to enjoy the rest of our night and some more wine. I'm so lucky and grateful to have Christian in my life. He makes me so happy! I had an amazing Valentine's Day, and I hope you all did too! What did you guys do?

Here are some pictures, Christian has the pictures from the restaurant so who knows when I'll be getting those, haha:
Cupcakes!
Makeup!
Outfit! Worn with black suede pumps!
All done up! :]

another weekend update

I'm so busy with work and school during the week so until this math class is over with (which is in two weeks! :]) the weekends are probably the only time I can make some sort of update. This weather has been horrible for my hair! I have curly hair, so when it rains it gets big! It's fun sometimes but I just wish it could be tame at other times.

Friday was an okay day, my body has just been wanting to get sick. Thursday my body was achy so that was no good. I woke up Friday morning not feeling so great, and I really didn't want to go to class but since I missed class on Thursday because of my doctors appointment, I made myself go, cough and all. After class my mom and my sister met up with me in Old Town Pasadena for some sushi. It was raining super hard, so our plans for doing some shopping were cut short. Plus I was sick and my mom can't do a lot of walking since she had her surgery, so I think that was for the best. After my mom and my sister left. I walked around in search of ideas for Valentine's Day. Probably not a good idea since I was sick and it was raining but at least I think I have it all planned out! :] After that, I had work from 5-cl, blah. My cough got pretty bad at work so it was a good thing I worked in the back since it is a lot warmer back there. After work, I headed home to take it easy and drank some hot tea and went to bed! Nothing too exciting.

Saturday was a nice day over all. I woke up a little early because Christian and I had a pancake breakfast planned! We went down to Leroy's which is a diner near my house, it's super good! I had pancakes and Christian had some belgian waffles, everything was really yummy. After breakfast we headed down to the mall to buy a baby shower present for Vanessa's sister Roxy. She's having a girl and naming her Marly Rose, super cute! I got Marly a cute little dress and a ducky. Hope Roxy liked it! Christian then dropped me off at home since he had plans for the afternoon and then I drove off to the shower. Pretty much everyone that I know was there, it was a huge shower, more of a friend thing. It was so adorable! I felt a little down since I was sick and couldn't enjoy much of the games since they were done outside, and it was freezing! Christian and I had other plans for the rest of the night so I left the shower around 8. It was good seeing all of my friends and I'm glad everyone had a great time, I think I would have been a party pooper if I would have stayed. When I left the shower, I really didn't feel good and when I got to Christian's house, we decided to just lay low. We grabbed some sushi and then cuddled and watched The Breakfast Club at his place. I ended up getting a little worse so Christian made me some hot tea and I took some medicine and I pretty much knocked out. We had a super cute night, even if I was a little under the weather.

So I woke up this morning feeling a little better, but still sick. I felt bad because I feel like I kept Christian up the whole night because of my coughing but he said he didn't hear a thing which made me feel better. We ended up watching Meercat Manner and playing Peggle on Xbox for most of the morning, so much fun! He then made us breakfast and some hot tea which was soo sweet of him! I then had to get ready to go work 1-cl. :[ Christian took care of me the whole time! He is so caring. Work went okay, I felt a little better once I got there but once I left work my cough got a little bad. So then I decided to grab some rice noodle soup with shrimp and veggies for dinner! Soo yummy with Sriracha sauce. So now I am about to do some math hw before I rest and go to bed. :/

Hope everyone is nice and healthy and had a good weekend!

weekend

I was super excited for the weekend to be here! I haven't done much since I've been so busy with school and I finally had a Friday off so I was happy. I had lunch with my mom and sister, we haven't done that in forever! So it was really great to do that! My friends invited Christian and I to go to HTDJ's that night. It's an event that happens every so often in LA, basically a lot of dancing goes on, fun stuff! I've been to plenty of HTDJ's so why not? I hardly go out, so we figured we would go. It was fun right up until the end. I won't go into much detail but let's just say some boys are rude and disrespectful! I am so happy to have such an amazing man as boyfriend because these boys were such pigs! It was very upsetting.

Saturday was a good day! Had lunch with my family at this yummy Chinese restaurant called Jade Orient. Everything there is so fresh and delicious! After that I had to work 4-cl, which was okayyy. I wasn't feeling too great so I could not wait to clock out! Christian and I had plans to have dinner after I got out of work but since I was feeling nauseous, I didn't want to eat. I hadn't ate since 1 in the afternoon that day so he insisted we go have dinner. We went to Naga Naga, this ramen place in Alhambra. I decided to get the veggie udon and I felt instantly better! I was so scared to eat anything because I felt so gross all day and I had no idea why! The udon was soo good. After that we headed down to his place to watch a movie and cuddle. Overall a very nice Saturday night.

Today I had lunch plans with my friend Tiff! We ended up at this Japanese restaurant by her house and we had some cold soba noodles! Super good. After that, we did a bit of shopping in Old Town Pasadena. I regret it a little now...but what's done is done! I couldn't help it. After shopping I headed home. Once I got home my parents wanted to go out to dinner. They wanted to go to Mako, so of course I said yes! How can I say no to sushi? :]

Now I'm home working on hw! I hope everyone else had a great weekend! I leave you with a few pictures from Friday night:

All ready to go out!

hello

Me in my awesome sweater! ;]

I've been super busy with school. This math class has seriously taken over my life. I'm so ready for these last 3 weeks to be over so that I can go back to me regular routine! Math has never been my strong point. I've always gotten good grades, but when it comes to math...I honestly have no idea how I can be so horrible at it. Class is going okay so far! Having class everyday and having homework due everyday helps since I keep up with it. If I have any questions I can always ask the next day. Other than that things have been great. I'm busy so that's always good. It's never good when I have too much time on my hands. I just never get anything done! I am such a procrastinator. It's been cold and rainy here in SoCal! I love it. I've never been a summer person. I don't like the heat, I hate being hot! I don't mind the sun at all, I just love it more when it's cold and sunny. This past Sunday was just perfect! I took Dexter and Emma out for a walk before I started studying for my math test. Perfect start to the day! I hate how I'm cooped up at work or at home doing hw all the time. Homework doesn't allow me to do much during the day, but I guess that's been fine since it's been rainy, so I rather just stay in and read. Too bad I can't since math is my life now.

I had a long day today. Had class from 10-1, and then I worked 2-cl. I got home not too long ago. I'm relaxing for a bit before I start more hw.

Hope all is well! How's everyone liking the weather on their side of town? :]

little dexter bug

Dexter says hello! He looks happy here, but he was not been enjoying the thunder storms and hail we've been having here in SoCal.

Saturday, January 16, 2010

I know, I promised a real update, but I hope this recent picture of me will do for now. I'm studying for my test on Tuesday...I know, studying on a Saturday night? It must be done! Although, in a bit I will be going over to Christian's house for some much needed down time. I had work in the morning today and after I got out I did a bit of window shopping. I'm trying to save! It's just so hard when you work at a clothing store inside a mall! I'm tempted to buy so many things but then I remember: Valentine's day, Mom's birthday, Dad's birthday and Christian's birthday are all within the next month! I'm doing the best that I can. My aunt is over and is making some pasteles de camaron, sooo good!

How is everyone doing with their new year's goals?

Hope all is well! Back to studying. :[

i love my friends

We have our ups and downs, that's for sure, but no matter what we're still there for each other. I love how we can live our own, busy lives without resenting one another because we cannot get together and hang out as much as we use to. And once we're together again after not seeing each other for weeks, it's like all that time never passed. This past Sunday was exactly that! I adore these photo booth pics from the Cha Cha Lounge in Silverlake. We went for my friend Tiff's 21st! We had so much fun; I love that place. I'll make a proper update soon with more pictures from that night.

Sorry for not updating as much. I started winter intersession this week. Deciding to take a math class in which you learn everything in 6 weeks, rather than 16 weeks was not a good idea! So much hw. On top of that work has been killing me! I have no day off this week. :[

I have the night off of work, so Christian and I are going to get some sushi and watch Youth in Revolt. :]

Hope everyone is having a great week!

2010

Oh 2009, you did not start out amazing, there was some definite good times, and there was some definite bad times. It wasn't until the middle of the year when you started treating me better. Therefore, I am so ready for this new year!

My goals aren't many, and aren't hard either. One of my goals though is to be completely committed to everything I set out to do. I'm not going to lie, I am a lazy person. I give up too easily on things and make too many excuses. That's going to have to stop. Here are the rest of my goals:
  • I've slacked off on the gym so much the month of December, which can be the most horrible month to slack off on. I feel that I have gained some weight back, but not a lot. So my goal is to go to the gym as much as I can, with no excuses. I know there will be some days that I can't go with me working and going to school, so I won't beat myself up over not going. I'm just going to be realistic and do what I can, and not give up. I'm not going to focus on being a certain weight, I'm just going to focus on feeling good, and fit.
  • Eating better! I've changed my way of eating so much in the past 2 years. My eating habits were bad in high school, but I was thin and very active then so it balanced off. After high school I gained 20 pounds, and when you're 5'2 that does not look flattering. I started eating better and going to the gym, and now I'm about 5 pounds away from being where I was in high school. Although recently, my eating habits have slipped so now I have to get back on track! I will do my best, and once again, not beat myself up over eating something "bad". I don't usually indulge so, that's that.
  • Do better in school! I will be starting a new school at the end of this year, so I have be more committed to doing school work and all that stuff. I tend to be a procrastinator so that needs to completely stop!
  • To be more helpful around the house. It's hard when everyone at home works, and I know my parents are tired, so when they need my help, I need to do it even if I am exhausted.
Small and doable goals! Hope everyone is having a good start to the year!

As Promised!

I ended up working New Years Eve on Thursday, which was okay! It was really slow and I couldn't wait to go home to our party! Every New Years Eve since we moved into this house almost 17 years ago, my parents have thrown a shindig! That's well over half my life; it has become a tradition. All of my family, and family friends come and we all have a good time and celebrate! Same food as Christmas is served, a long with some other additional goodies. I wish I could have taken some pictures of the party, but I could not find any of my battery chargers! I have a lot for a reason; always lose them. Anyway, the night was spent drinking, and dancing! It was so much fun. I love my family very much, they are all so lively and fun. I just wished I could have gotten a new years kiss from my amazing boyfriend! But that was okay seeing as though he came home the very next day!

Christian came back on Friday, New Years Day. I was so excited to see him! I could not wait for him to call me to go pick him up at Union Station in downtown. I spent the day cleaning my room, and getting ready before he got in from Florida. Once he called me, I hopped right into my car and headed to downtown. I was so happy to see him! It felt amazing to hug him, cheesy I know, but I can't help it. After I picked him up, we went to his place to drop off his luggage and for him to relax for a bit. I love cuddling with him, we could have done that the whole time but we were both hungry so we decided to get sushi. I enjoy our little sushi dates so much; we might have over done it that night! We were both starving so we ate quite a bit, haha. After we went to Target to buy me some slippers seeing as though I don't have any at his place for when I stay over. I got these super cute sock monkey slippers, oh my gosh. Christian said that if they had them in his size he would have totally bought a pair as well, and we would be nerding out together. I'm on a mission to find some in his size. We then headed off to Blockbuster to rent a movie. We ended up watching Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, it was good! Neither of us got a chance to watch it when it came out in theater earlier last year. Obviously no movie is better than the book, but I think the Harry Potter movies do a good job of depicting the book.

Saturday I worked 4-cl. I've been feeling like this for a couple of months now, but I cannot stand my job anymore. It is so unorganized and unprofessional. I feel physically and emotionally exhausted after I work, and I never feel excited to go to work. I really don't feel any great connections with my co-workers. I just go about my day at work and do what I have to do. I think it's about time I look for another job, but it's so hard now. I don't even know where to begin! :[

Enough about work. Today was a good day on the other hand! I got up, had some cereal for breakfast and then I got a text from Christian asking me if I wanted to go on on a movie date. I obviously said yes. So I got ready and he came around 1pm. The movie didn't start until 2:30 so we grabbed some lunch at Peach Cafe! We both got the Grilled Chicken Club, super good! We watched Avatar; I really enjoyed it! I think Christian thought I wouldn't like it, but I did. I do enjoy Sci-Fi flicks! He seems to think I don't like them, haha. After that he dropped me off since he had plans with his friend, and I had dinner plans with my parents. Guess where we went? Mako sushi! As always. So I had an amazing dinner, and an overall amazing day with Christian and later with my parents.

That's it for now, I want to get some stuff done before bed! Tomorrow is back to the gym! I will make an update on my New Years Goals! For now I will leave you with an adorable, and I swear not staged, picture of my beagles Dexter and Emma:
I swear, I always see Dexter in this plant pot soaking up some rays, and every time I try to get a picture he gets out to play with me. So I took this through our back sliding door. My dogs are the best. :]

Happy New Year!

I know, it's been a while since my last post but it has been a very busy couple of weeks! Let me give you guys a "quick "run through. :]

So my semester ended on the 17th! I was sooo relieved. That day Christian and I exchanged our Christmas gifts as well. He got me a new phone! A Blackberry Curve to be exact. I badly needed a new phone since my old phone was falling to pieces. He is so thoughtful. I gave him a pair of Ray Bans and a nice plaid (plaid is his favorite) shirt. He loved his gifts! He also gave me the cutest Christmas card and he wrote me the sweetest thing on the planet! He makes me so amazingly happy. He could have just given me the card and I would have been ecstatic.

So the weekend of the 18th my parents left to Arizona for a business trip. I love my parents to death but when you still live at home some time apart is nice. It came at a good time seeing as though Christian was leaving on the 22nd to Florida for 10 days to spend the holidays with his parents. So we spent pretty much the whole weekend together before he left. It is really too bad that I worked that whole weekend because I didn't get a chance to spend a whole, entire day with him. That weekend was also Kristy's 23rd so we celebrated that at Seven Grand in Dowtown LA!

I was suppose to have the day before he left, which was a Monday, off but my coworker ended up not being able to cover my shift. I was super upset since we were suppose to go to Disneyland; he has never been! So I really wanted us to go during Christmas time and before he left. We were both super bummed that we couldn't go, and the fact that I had to work. I love how she tells me the night before when I had asked her a week in advanced. Oh well. We just ended up grabbing lunch and did some Christmas shopping during the day, then I went very grumpily to work, and after work I went over to his place to say goodbye and cuddle as much as we could before he left. I was sad, but I knew those 10 days would go by fast!

Work kept me very busy that week! So I was super tired. I am so happy for that because it kept me from getting into this little funk I get into when he goes away. So the 23rd was Kristy's actual birthday which meant that Steph, Kristy and I went to Barney's Beanery in Old Town Pasadena to grab some drinks! Much fun was had. I swear the world was full of weridos that night, but we all had a great time at the end of the night!

Christmas Eve and Christmas came and went. We spent Christmas at my aunts house with all my other aunts, uncles and cousins. We had tamales, Pavo con Pan and quesadillas! So good. Salvadorian tamales are different from Mexican tamales, and in my opinion so much yummier, haha. I had an okay Christmas, things start to get less fun as you get older in my family. I wouldn't have it any other way though. I do love my family and as long as we are all together, that is all that matters. The day after Christmas was Margaret's 22nd birthday; she celebrated it at a karaoke bar in Korea Town. She rented out a private room, which allowed all of us who went to let loose. We had fun singing all of our old favorite songs! Anyway, I will leave you all with pictures from said events!
